...It follows you home.
-
→ You walk into your house and immediately see everything you haven’t done
→ You feel guilty about how much you work, yet also guilty when you’re not working
→ You’re always needed and rarely fully off
→ You keep thinking, “Why does this feel harder for me than everyone else?”
When work doesn’t stay at work, over time it shows up as:
Irritability.
Low patience.
That sense you’re falling short where it matters most.
 -
This isn’t a personality flaw.
It’s what happens when there’s no margin
“I used to have 600–700 unfinished notes and nightmares about them. Last week, I finished every single one. ZERO.” - OB/GYN

If the problem were just time management, you would have solved it by now.
You’ve read the books.
Tried the planners.
Worked harder.
And you still feel behind.
This isn’t about squeezing out more.
It’s about diagnosing the real problem, so you’re not just managing symptoms.
In this class, you’ll learn:
âś” Why one difficult or uncertain clinical decision can keep you awake, replaying worst-case scenarios and assuming it will be your fault
âś” How to redirect a visit, save issues for next time, and still feel like a good doctor
✔ How to finish your notes without overdocumenting, second-guessing, or worrying it will come back to bite you
This is practical. It’s grounded in real physician experience.  And it’s meant to help you feel better inside the life you already have.
Karen's community welcomes all women physicians. We embrace all identities and strive to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

Hi, I’m Karen.
I’m a physician and certified coach, and I work exclusively with women doctors.
I know what it’s like to look capable on paper, and still feel constantly behind in real life.
Over the past several years, I’ve worked with over 500 women physicians who came to me exhausted, taking care of everyone but themselves, and stuck not knowing how to balance work and home life in a way that felt sustainable.
What most of them hadn’t been shown was what was driving that pressure, beyond the healthcare system and the daily demands of the job.
Once they understood it, they made different decisions.
And their lives changed.
“I really knew that in order to stay in medicine, I needed to do something different…” - DR. AB
“I feel so much more in the driver’s seat of my life experience, both professionally and personally… That one annoying thing at work doesn’t ruin everything anymore.” - Dr. AS
If you recognize yourself in any of this, you belong in this class.
